On May 27th, SONY Music releases a charity CD for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. All artists have relinquished their royalties to be donated to the Japanese Red Cross. You can hear Yu Kosuge playing "Song without words" by Mendelssohn on this album.

On Dec. 21st at 9pm on NDR Kultur a recording on Dec. 3rd in broadcasting centre of NDR in Hamburg will be broadcasted

On 28th July Yu Kosuge stepped in at the Salzburg Festival for Ivo Pogorelich, who was taken ill.
